Are American judges being targeted and murdered?

In my research I found (from 2016 to 2024):
11 cases of a judge (or close relative) murdered.
11 cases of judges dying by suicide.
Four cases of judges who drowned.
Six cases of a judge (or close relative) killed by a vehicle as a pedestrian.
13 cases of judges (and/or close relative) dying in car accidents (not as pedestrians)
Five cases of judges dying in non-automobile accidents
37 judges who “Died Suddenly” (I suspect this number is higher).

A few examples:

First Muslim woman to serve as a judge in the US Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam, aged 65, was found in the Hudson River near West 132nd Street in Manhattan in April 2017; initially reported as suicide but later considered "suspicious"; she served on the prestigious Court of Appeals

On July 19, 2020, a delivery driver shoots and kills Salas' only child - aged 20 - and critically injures her husband at their New Jersey home. Four days before shooting Salas had been assigned to lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors; the suit alleged the bank failed to properly monitor "high risk" customers including Jeffrey Epstein

In January 2024 Judge Melanie Andress-Tobiasson died by "suicide" a year after being forced to resign to avoid an ethics probe; the married mom of three had told police the store where her daughter worked was a sex trafficking hub.

These are just a few of the cases; there are MANY more. My sympathies to the families.

This video features 97 instances of American judges (or close relatives) dying from 2016 to 2024.

Are judges being threatened? Is our judicial system being compromised?
